NOTES FOR THE MEETING ON 4th May
We'll be continuing our look at the FAT filing system and File Management. This is pages 56 to 66 in Moira Stephen's book. In addition to the material in the book, I'll be referring to older notes of my own. If you haven't already done so, you can download these notes from by right clicking this link and selecting "Save target as"
I would suggest you print off a copy for yourself and bring it with you. It's in plain text format to minimise download times.
Time permitting, we'll be learning how to create folders (directories) and how to copy, move or delete files from them. We'll revise the important topic of file types and extensions, how to display a file's properties, and how the recycle bin works.
We'll leave the business of searching, and the use of wildcards for another time.
