It was good to see so many faces, both familiar and new. After welcoming you to the class, I started talking about Internet addresses, and soon got side tracked into a discussion about domain names and how they work.  Rather than repeat what I said in class, I'm suggesting that if you're interested you should go to http://www.internic.net/ and read up on the subject from there. You might also like to investigate the information that can be obtained from http://www.samspade.org.
